Made51 is an initiative connecting refugee artists to global markets. They aim to help refugee artisans harness skills enabling them to participate in the growing global artisan economy by modernising traditional skills and working with retailers.
Developing textile products using innovative pile techniques with refugees who are returning to Afghanistan. Products were launched at Ambiente 2017.

Working closely with retailers, Rebecca offers colour and trend direction as well as surface and pattern design, helping to set trends and bring cutting-edge products to market. Rebecca reinvents techniques while retaining their sense of culture and place. With her excellent knowledge of manufacturing processes, print techniques and materials, she encourages industries to push their production methods in unexpected ways.

Turquoise Mountain are working in Arabia with Saudi artisans, developing craft markets and supporting artisans through the provision of artistic, technical and economic opportunities.
Currently working with a variety of artisan cooperatives across Saudi Arabia, using traditional textile skills to develop products for the luxury hotel market.
